I ran my campaign not wanting to take donations. I believe money in politics should not exist. A politician shouldn’t belong to the highest bidder. And I don’t belong to anyone else. I belong to my own soul.

After the 2025 election for Mint Hill Mayor I decided to change my political party from Democrat to Unaffiliated. Now I feel free to grow without the constraints of a political Party. It was a good experience running as a Democrat. But I recognized the limitation of being part of
